These terms govern the use of the SpotOwl app and of this website. By using the app, you accept them.
The service
SpotOwl sends you a notification when an appointment opening becomes available on a supported booking platform, for the services and locations you follow. You then book it yourself, directly on the platform. The service is free and requires no account.
What SpotOwl does not guarantee
- SpotOwl checks the platforms at regular intervals: an opening may appear and disappear between two checks.
- The information sent may be incomplete or already out of date when you receive it.
- Delivery of notifications depends on your phone, its settings, your network and the notification services of Google and Apple.
- SpotOwl never books for you and does not guarantee you will get the appointment: someone else may book the opening before you.
Booking is done on the official platform, under your responsibility and according to its own terms.
Not for emergencies
SpotOwl is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call emergency services, 911 in Canada.
Independence
Independent service, not affiliated with the supported platforms (ClicSanté / Trimoz). The brands mentioned belong to their owners.
Acceptable use
You agree to use SpotOwl for your own needs, without trying to disrupt it, to get around its limits or to use it in an automated way.
Changes to and availability of the service
The service may change, be interrupted or stopped, in whole or in part, in particular for a platform that would request it. An alert expires after 60 days without the app being opened, and an installation inactive for 90 days is deleted (see the privacy policy).
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, SpotOwl cannot be held liable for a missed appointment, a notification not received or received late, or inaccurate information coming from a platform.
Contributions
Contributions are voluntary, one-time and made on a Stripe page. They give no perks in the app: the service is the same for everyone. SpotOwl is run by an individual: no tax receipt is issued. If there is a payment error, write to us.

Changes to these terms
These terms may change along with the service. The last update date is shown at the top of the page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws in force in Quebec.
